About us

Quirvow is a very small brand with a simple idea behind it: make leather bags in an honest way, and show clearly who is behind them. My name is Imad Bergaouy, and I run Quirvow from a workshop in Azrou, a town in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco. When you read “we” on this page, it means me and the people who work with me here, not a big anonymous company somewhere else.

QUIRVOW LEATHER FROM MOROCCO

Everything begins in our workshop in Azrou. We work with full‑grain and top‑grain leather from Moroccan tanneries, using hides that come as a by‑product of the food industry. Some products are made from goat or lamb, others from cow or buffalo. Each type of leather has its own character, and on every product page I try to be clear about which one you’re getting and how it behaves over time. I care a lot about these details, because they decide how your bag will age and how it will feel in your hands.

The process itself is not complicated, but it is slow. Panels are measured and cut by hand using patterns we’ve refined over time. Pieces are stitched together by experienced artisans, and hardware is attached one piece at a time. Before any bag leaves the workshop, someone checks it by hand: stitching, edges, zippers, straps. This kind of work means that no two bags are exactly the same. You might notice small differences in grain, tone, or stitching. I see these as signs that a real person made your bag, not a defect that needs to be hidden.

Quirvow is not a marketplace, not a dropshipping store, and not a reseller. We don’t take products from other brands and put our name on them. We design our own pieces, we work with our own patterns, and we ship directly from our workshop. When you order from us, your bag is prepared at Maison 12 in Azrou and then handed to FedEx to travel to you in the United States. At the moment, we ship only to the US, and all prices are in USD.

Because many of our customers are buying from another country, I try to make things as clear and predictable as I can. Shipping is handled via FedEx International Free Standard Shipping on all orders. This service is fully tracked from our door to yours, ensuring a secure and reliable journey for your purchase. I ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), which means I take care of all duties and import taxes in advance, so you aren’t asked to pay any extra fees when the package arrives. It’s important to me that the price you see on the product page is the real, final price you pay.

Our range is intentionally small. Right now we focus on duffel bags, crossbody bags, backpacks, and some small accessories like wallets. Keeping the collection tight helps me pay attention to each design instead of chasing trends or releasing too many styles that I can’t support properly. If something doesn’t meet the standard I have in mind, I prefer to adjust the pattern or pause that model instead of pushing it out just to have something new.

I also believe that being reachable is part of doing this in an honest way. On this page and across the site you will always see the same contact information: my name, the workshop address in Azrou, my email, and my phone number. If you have a question about a product, about an order, or even just about how something is made, you can write or call and you’ll get a reply from me or someone sitting in the same workshop, not from a call center that has never seen the bags.

Quirvow is small, and I want to keep it that way for now. That allows me to stay close to the work, to the materials, to the tannery traditions in places like Fes
