Quirvow is a leather bag brand rooted in the craftsmanship traditions of Morocco. Based in Azrou, we design and offer handcrafted leather bags that are built for daily life — honest in materials, practical in shape, and produced with care.
Morocco has one of the oldest living traditions of leather craft in the world. At Quirvow, we draw on that heritage while working with artisans who continue to practice manual techniques passed down through generations. Every bag we offer reflects the hands that made it.
Our Story
Quirvow began with a straightforward question: how do you make a leather bag that is worth keeping for years? The answer, we found, was in the process — selecting the right leather, working with skilled craftspeople, and refusing to cut corners.
The brand was created to connect customers in the United States with genuinely handcrafted Moroccan leather goods. We are a small operation, and we prefer it that way. Smaller batches mean more attention, more consistency, and better results.
The name Quirvow does not come from a dictionary. It is a name we created to represent something distinct — a brand that stands on its own, made by real people in a real place.
How We Make Our Bags
Each Quirvow bag goes through a careful production process carried out by experienced artisans:
Leather Selection
We use genuine leather — including goat, lamb, cow, and buffalo hides — sourced as a byproduct of the food industry. The hide is selected based on its grain, durability, and suitability for the intended bag design.
Cutting and Pattern Work
Every panel is measured and hand-cut according to the bag pattern. There are no shortcuts in this step — precise cutting determines the final structure and quality of the bag.
Assembly and Stitching
Artisans assemble and stitch each piece by hand or with equipment guided by hand. The stitching is checked for strength and consistency before the bag moves to the next stage.
Finishing and Inspection
Edges are trimmed and polished, surfaces are conditioned where needed, hardware is attached, and each completed bag is inspected before it is packed for shipment.
